Progress – Web Animation Stencil

Progress – Web Animation Stencil

A motion system built to streamline the web team's workflow at Progress. Through research, interviews, testing, and iteration, I created the Progress Web Animation Stencil in Jitter – a library adopted across web, video, and motion projects.

The Work

After joining Progress's Web Design team, I set out to improve how motion was planned and produced across projects. I identified a workflow gap, interviewed teammates, studied existing practices, and translated those findings into the Progress Animation Stencil in Jitter: a scalable library of presets, easing guidance, and documentation that brought greater consistency, speed, and clarity to the web experience.

Adopted by the team and applied across multiple initiatives, the stencil helped standardize animation patterns while creating a stronger foundation for future motion work. Its system extended beyond the website into broader video and motion deliverables for the wider creative team, turning an identified process issue into a practical, reusable design asset. All assets were constructed as reusable components within Jitter, systemized alongside documentation and best practices notes.
